Thank you to Suzanne Berger for her Thanksgiving invocation.

 A Thanksgiving Garden

Plant three rows of peas:
Peace in our hearts
Peace in our schools
Peace in our world.

Plant four rows of squash:
Squash gossip
Squash grumbling
Squash indifference
Squash selfishness.

Plant four rows of lettuce:
Let us be faithful
Let us be kind
Let us be fair
Let us really love one another.

No garden should be without turnips:
Turn up to learn life’s lessons
Turn up on time
Turn up to help one another.

Water freely with patience;
Cultivate with compassion
There is abundance in your garden
Because you reap what you sow.

To conclude our garden,
We must have plant the herb thyme:
Time for truth
Time for study and reflection
Time for friends and family
Time to thank the Lord for the blessings of our lives.
