Tropical Diseases and Their Global Impact
Gordon Eggers, Jr. is the retired President and CEO of Crusader Community Health, where he worked for 34 years. He is also a board certified Physician Assistant, with a lifelong interest in international medicine and tropical diseases.
Earlier in his career, he worked in the Samoan Islands, the Southern Sudan civil war, the Congo, Kazakhstan, and three years in the jungles of Papua New Guina.
He has a Master of Public Health and joins us today after recently completing an onsite "Diploma in Tropical Medicine" from the "National School of Tropical Medicine", Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas.
Gordon previously spoke to us about worldwide immunizations. Today he is speaking about "Tropical Diseases and their Global Impact".
This will be an interesting and informative program. One in which you will want to bring a guest or prospective member to join us person at Memorial Hall or via Zoom. Linda Niemiec will introduce our presenter and act as Rotary Host.
