In what has become a tradition at Rockford Rotary, we have invited Robert Evans from Rockford University to talk about the November 6th elections.  As usual, the feeling right now is to get this thing over with and get on with the business of governing, especially on the state level after a campaign that has been going on forever.
Robert is Chairman of the Department of Economics, Business and Accounting within the Puri School of Business.  He also teaches "The Legal Environment of Business" in the MBA program.  He is actively involved in the Rockford University public policy program and trains managers on law-related topics.  His other Rockford University activities include faculty trustee, Pre-Law advisor, and college budget committee.  His community activities have included, Rockford School Board member, chairman of rhe District 205 education committee, member of the Winnebago County Crime Commission and the Advisory Board to the Rockford Chief of Police.  He has appeared on local TV stations for years on election nights giving his views on what is taking place.
Bob earned a B.A. from Wake Forest University and a M.A. from Northern Illinois University.  He has completed course work for a Ph.D. and has done further graduate study at Penn State University.
This will be a program that will be of interest to every member no matter what happened to your candidate.  This will also be an excellent opportunity to bring an guest or prospective member.  Eric Fulcomer will introduce our presenter and act as Rotary Host.
