New Member - Katrina Olson

 

 

 

     Katrina Olson has  worked as a teacher for the past eighteen years with RPS 205, retiring in June 2019.  She primarily taught at the STEAM School at Haskell Academy in 2nd and 3rd grades, Art, and most recently Makerspace.  Prior to becoming a teacher She was a Graphic Designer in both Industrial and Commercial Advertising.

     Katrina has worked in many volunteer positions and on various boards such as Swedish American Foundation, Beattie Is, and Rockford Family Advocate.
     She attended University of Denver and received my BA from University of Oregon along with my MAT from Rockford University.

     She lives in Rockford and am married to Peter Olson and have four children (step: Karen and Chris both married in Denver; Rob 30 married in Denver and Amy 28 married in Michigan).  I also have four grand-children, Hayden 18, Carson 16 (Denver), Evere 5 months (Denver) and Jack 2 years (Michigan) with another baby due in June.

     Katrina is looking forward to following in her fathers’ footsteps along with many other family members and contribute to the Rockford Rotary Club.
