New Member - Bill Coller

Due to a number of circumstances, we have not had a chance to officially induct Bill Coller as the newest member of Rockford Rotary.  Bill was sponsored by Linda Niemiec and here is some information about Bill.

Originally from Baraboo Wisconsin, Bill attended college at the University of Wisconsin - Madison and studied Communication Arts - Radio/TV/Film.  Bill got his first job in broadcasting at 19 years old as a weekend DJ at Q106FM in Madison.  He worked in Madison radio for almost 10 years with multiple formats and time slots until moving to Rockford in 1999 where he started at "Lite 103" under the name Jack Dawson.  Eventually moving into the morning show at the "New B103", 'Jack' decided to retire from broadcasting altogether in 2004.

Using his real name from this point forward, Bill started working at OSF Medical Center in 2004.  He received training as an Orthopedic Technician at Rockford Orthopedic Associates in 2006.  Starting in the cast room as a technician, he became a clinical lead for Dr. Borchardt and helped to develop and open InjuryExpress at OrthoIllinois.

Bill moved from clinic to administration in 2014, first as a clinical manager and then as the Director of Clinical Operations for the Rockford locations of OrthoIllinois.  After 12 years at OrthoIllinois, Bill moved into a new position as Business Development Manager in January of 2020.

He currently lives in Rockford with his wife, Laura (an art teacher at Concordia Lutheran School), two children (Christian, 13 and Payton, 12) and two dogs Phoebe and Emmie (ages unknown).

We welcome Bill as a member of Rockford Rotary and we encourage our members to make an effort to meet Bill and welcome him to our club.

Please welcome Bill Coller to Rockford Rotary.

We would encourage everyone to meet Bill and welcome him to Rockford Rotary.
