Solar Projects in Rockford
Hal Sprague practiced environmental law for 35 years and is now a recovering lawyer. He also worked for 11 years as an environmental advocate and lobbyist at the Center for Neighborhood Technology in Chicago, helping with the passage of legislation and adoption of regulations in Springfield that promote stormwater management techniques that reduce water pollution and urban flooding. Most recently Hal has been with Trajectory Energy Partners as an Outreach Coordinator, helping communities understand and get the most benefit from community solar projects across Illinois.
Hal will describe several community solar projects that Trajectory is developing in the Rockford area. These projects are unlike traditional community solar, because they provide significant benefits to the local neighborhoods where they are developed and are designed based in part on input from local community members.
This will be an interesting and informative program and one that you can invite a guest or prospective member. President Eric will introduce our presenter and act as Rotary Host.
