Rotary’s High School Recognition event on April 11 will culminate with the awarding of Burdette Anderson Memorial Scholarship by Burdette’s two daughters, Susan Vetrono, left, and Linda Oshita, right. They are shown with last year’s winners.

          Each high school nominates one boy and one girl senior, based on their service and leadership.  From this pool Rotary will award one $2,000 college scholarship to one girl and one boy, the Burdette Anderson Scholarship.
