Keith has been an active member of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE) and served as the Chapter President for the Rocky Mountain chapter. Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (RMADOHE). City of Rockford Update

Before becoming Mayor of Rockford, Tom McNamara proudly held his two favorite titles—husband and father. Since taking office, he has focused on improving public safety, revitalizing neighborhoods and driving economic growth. He’s led efforts to lower property taxes and has appointed diverse, fiscally responsible leaders to city boards and commissions—people who share his commitment to using taxpayer dollars wisely and effectively.
The mayor will give us his annual update about what is going on with the city of Rockford and some of the services it provides.
This is always an interesting and informative program and one to invite a guest or prospective member to join us in person at Memorial Hall or via Zoom.
President Paul will introduce the mayor and act as Rotary Host.

Service Projects Update

Service Committee Updates

Lynn Momberger and Suzanne Shelain delivered Christmas gifts for residents at River Bluff Nursing home on December 18th.

Thanks again to all who donated gifts for residents at River Bluff Nursing Home, helping make their holidays a bit merrier and brighter!

Valentines Day for River Bluff

For Valentine's Day we will once again be signing cards and decorating up the cards and envelopes a little bit to bring some love and joy to the
residents at River Bluff Nursing Home.  The service committee will have a table at the next several Rotary Club meetings with cards and decorating
materials so you can stop by before or after the meeting for a few minutes to sign some cards.  Or if you'd rather, you can take a few with you to do
at your convenience and bring them back to any meeting by February 5, 2026.
We will also be collecting bags of York Peppermint Patties, Three Musketeers Bars, and plain Hershey kisses or candy bars to deliver to the residents
with their Valentines.  We hope you will all join in on this simple service project in one way or another.  Thank you!
